I left something out in the video. I transferred all the setting from Serval (my server) to the virtual machine. This is why I had the 401.2 error, however, the alternative would have been to recreate all configuration files by hand. So, the fix I found on the Internet (see the video) made this (copy all my configuration files over to my virtual machine) the better choice.
Click on Shared Configuration->Open Feature->Export Configuration to export your configuration files
On the virtual machine it's Shared Configuration->Open Feature->Enable shared configuration, then you set the folder where you have saved the administration.config files. The applicationHost.config and configEncKey.key files have to be copied over the their counterparts on the virtual system; C:\Windows\System32\inetsrv\config.
