My Original Introduction to Links To My
Programs
These are programs I wrote when first learning Java, first learning a new API in Java, early attempts at JavaScripts, and just some ideas I've tried out (at least the last one is in my plans), etc. I've been writing professionally for the last couple of decades and was writing scripts before then (mostly DCL on VAX computers). So even though these are my "beginner" programs, they weren't written by a beginner, which makes these programs interesting.
My Introduction to ...and Associated Activities
When I wrote
CGI Shopping Cart I felt a little funny
about the title. I didn't write the CGI shopping cart, but I modified the Pay
Pal shopping cart so it would work with my client side only sales site (which I
did write). I left
the CGI shopping cart on my site because that was something I was looking at
before deciding to go the Pay Pal route. Now (of this writing) I have something
else to feel funny about; Compiling The Crafty Chess Program
I created some XML files by using Visual Studio, to be used for compiling the
Crafty Chess program with Visual Studio 2010. This isn't a "My
Program" either, but I felt the article had a place in "My
Programs". Because I'm no longer just sticking to "My
Programs" I thought I should change the name of this web page.
